Frank Key Donates £3,000 to Local Charities (01/07/2009)
Following our successful customer racenight, Frank Key is pleased to announce three donations to local charities totaling £3,000.
The three charities, Framework (housing charity), Hayward House (a hospice at the Nottingham City Hospital) and the Childrens Brain Tumour Research Charity (Based at Nottingham University), each received a cheque for £1,000, presented by James Norton and Victoria Sansom.
Most of the funds were raised towards the end of February, at our successful customer racenight, held at the Springwater Cantonese, Calverton. The event is now in its second year, with 8 video races, computerised tote and all-you-can-eat chinese buffet. This year we attracted 400 people and the tote raised just under £2,000 towards the charitable total.
