Trustone fieldland is a hardwearing quartzitic sandstone with a proven reord of durability for exterior use in the British climate.Its colour shades are very similar to those of English York Stone and will blend attractively with almost any surroundings. Each slab has hand dressed edges making it suitable for copings and changes of level.
Fieldland Paving should always be laid larger face upwards on a full bed of mortar. It may be used for domestic driveways with suitable foundations. When used for interiors, it is usually treated with a suitable coating.
Fieldland paving shows the naturally occurring diversity that gives newly quarried stone its own special appeal. Each piece has its own individual colour, texture and markings. The stone is split along its natural bedding planes, which produces a wider thickness range than the controlled processes used in manufacturing reconstituted stone. Whichever pattern you choose, the paving will fit together perfectly because our accurately proportioned sizes allow for consistent 10mm joints.
